Some of my favorite images as a child in Saudi Arabia were the desert camels, dressed up fancy, with harnesses and bells around their necks. This is a tryptich of a family of camels whose names are Kalifa, Sahalla and Joseph. The harnesses and bells are mixed media. The gold reflects the intense desert heat.
